About us

Welcome to the Morrinsville Wheelers Cycling Club.
We are a friendly club located in the heart of the Waikato, New Zealand. Our cyclists range from national champions to recreational and junior riders. We have a strong history in both road and track and our riders actively participate in both these disciplines.

Our programme

Morrinsville Wheelers is affiliated to Cycling New Zealand. Morrinsville Wheelers Cycling Club promotes cycling on the road and track with the ambition for riders to compete to the best of their ability, whether that means health and fitness, social, twilight, club, national or international.Throughout the year, we host several events, including the Bill & Hazel Summers Memorial Open and the Twilight Series held on Wednesday evenings during daylight saving time. In the winter months, a track racing series at the Avantidrome. The Morrinsville area offers cyclists a variety of routes featuring long flats, challenging hills, and undulating circuits.
