About us
Established in 1964 Ngaruawahia Golf Course sits on the banks of the mighty Waikato River. Lush contoured fairways, well-manicured greens, strategically positioned tree and sand traps, as well as difficult prevailing winds make this course one of the top courses in the region to play.
With a fully stocked pro shop and modern clubhouse catering for all occasions, Ngaruawahia Golf Course is a great destination.
We’re only 10 minutes’ drive north of Hamilton or an hour from Central Auckland. Come and enjoys a great round of golf with us, you won’t be disappointed!

Golf Development Program
Our Junior Golf Clinics are commencing in the 4th school term on Sunday afternoons. These clinics will be conducted by our Golf Professional, Duncan Bennett. Watch this space! All welcome.
Futures Waikato
Our Golf Development Program will not affect our partnership with Futures Waikato.
There is an annual membership fee of $120 to join Futures Waikato.
This offers you:
- Access to off peak playing times (times available on the Futures Waikato website) at any of the member golf clubs.
- Free entry to any Futures Waikato fun playing event.
- Access to subsidised group coaching opportunities at a range of member clubs.
Women's Golf at Ngarauwahia
We have a great group of ladies who will welcome all players new & old to our golf club. We have our regular weekly competitions and also get involved in tournaments at other clubs around the Waikato and beyond. GREEN FEES
Come and play one of the best groomed and scenic golf courses in Waikato. We welcome visitors with tee times available 7 days a week. We hire clubs, electric carts and trundlers. See website or contact for more information.
