About us

Located in Ngatea, New Zealand, the Ngatea Rugby & Sports Club has a rich history dating back to its reformation in 1975. The club offers various sports, including rugby, netball, and hockey, fostering community engagement and athletic development. Over 220 athletes competing in Thames Valley and Hauraki Plains Competition. • Rugby: The club fields multiple rugby teams across different grades, participating in the Thames Valley Rugby Football Union competitions.​

• Netball: Netball teams cater to various age groups and skill levels, promoting inclusivity and teamwork.​

• Hockey: The club supports hockey teams, providing opportunities for players to compete and develop their skills.​

The club is based at the Hugh Hayward Domain in Ngatea, offering facilities for training and hosting matches.
