About us

The Purangi Club offers a challenging nine-hole genuine country-styled golf course situated at the base of attractive rolling farmland only minutes from the very popular holiday destinations of Cooks Beach, Hot Water Beach and Hahei on the Coromandel Peninsula. A very warm welcome is extended to all visitors.

Our programme

SATURDAYS

Open to men and Ladies 18 hole play: assemble at 11:30, tee off 12 noon. Scramble fee $10..00 Bar open after play.

TUESDAY AND THURSDAYS

Open to men and ladies 9 Hole play: assemble by 9:15, tee off 9:30. Scramble fee $5.00 Morning tea after play.

What you need to know

The course is open to Green Fee play almost anytime and visitors are cordially invited to join members on their club days. Green Fees are $20. This fee entitles players to play as much golf as they would like on any one-day. Outside of popular holiday times the course is unmanned and an honesty box green fee system operates.
Club Competition Days Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday competitions are held during the golfing season between early February and early December.
