About us

Taupo Masters Swimming is a friendly and inclusive swimming club based in Taupō, welcoming adults of all fitness and ability levels. Whether you're swimming for fitness, fun, or training for competition, our club provides a supportive environment for all. We’re a social group that values community, with regular get-togethers and events both in and out of the pool.

Our programme

We offer a mix of structured and casual swimming opportunities throughout the year, including:

• Weekly Lake Swims: Most Sundays at 9am, we swim from the Scout Den carpark at the south end of the lakefront (approx. 2km+).

• Club Events: Social and swim-focused gatherings like our annual pre-brunch swim and prizegiving ceremony.

• Event Participation: Members regularly take part in local open-water swim events like the "Across the Lake" swim.
