Whether you are already an experienced player or new to the game you may be assured of a warm welcome to our small club near the centre of Te Awamutu.

Croquet is a non-contact game, suitable for people of all ages, male and female looking for a challenging sport. Join us to learn the skills, strategies and tactics of the games on our 4 well-kept lawns in the company of friendly club members.  We encourage competitive and social play in a modern game based on current rules for the traditional game of Association Croquet or the shorter game of Golf Croquet as played in New Zealand and throughout the world.

Our programme

AC Croquet: 

Tuesday and Saturday.  Names in by 9.45 am for 10 am start. 

CG Croquet:   

Monday, Thursday and Saturday.  Names in by 8.45 am for 9.am start, or 12.45 pm for 1 pm start. Twilight games on Tuesdays at 5.15 in Daylight Saving months.

Winter games:  Names in by 12.45 pm but this may be earlier, weather permitting. 

What you need to know

Mallets are available to borrow and coaching classes are offered, particularly for beginners. Come and "have a go".
