About us

We are the Thames Valley branch of the New Zealand Deerstalkers Association. We have a property located at the end of Morrison Road on the outskirts of Paeroa. Our facilities include a modern clubrooms with kitchen and bar facilities, a running boar range for use with .22 calibre rifles, a 50 metre and 100 metre centerfire range, and trap house with a DTL trap. The Club runs a varied shoot calender throughout the year for rimfire, centrefire and shotguns. Visitors and non members are most welcome. Thames Valley Deerstalkers is located at the end of Morrison Road in Paeroa, Morrison Road is located approximately 1km on the right from the Paeroa boundary on the Paeroa Thames road.

Our programme

TVDA offers a range of activities, including clay target shooting, rifle shooting, and coaching programs. Our club has hosted numerous regional, national, and international events, such as the Oceania Sporting Clay Championships. We also provide nationwide coaching programs, emphasising youth participation and continuous learning.​
