About us

Tokoroa AFC has a strong heritage in the South Waikato community. We were first established in 1953, under the name ‘Kinleith United’. In 1958, the Club changed its name to Tokoroa AFC and has grown and prospered ever since, with this being the 70th year active in the community.  

The club manages and runs a competition for primary schools in the area. We have 40 to 50 teams, catering for around 600 children between the ages of five and 13, taking part each week through winter. 

This year we have entered three senior teams into the WaiBOP competition in their respective divisions.

Senior Leagues

In 2025, Tokoroa AFC has entered three senior teams into the WaiBOP Football competitions:​

Men’s League One Team:

• Competition: Waikato Senior Men’s League Division 1

Men’s Reserves Team:

• Competition: Waikato Senior Men’s League Division 3

Women’s Team
