Our programme
Our Waikato Hockey U10 Development Programme is
- Fun and inclusive
- Focuses on developing fundamental skills, building confidence and fostering a love for hockey in a supportive environment
- A great space to be active
- Open to players of all abilities aged 5–9 years
Whether your child is new to hockey or looking to refine their skills, our sessions offer something for everyone.
What you need to know
Our Waikato Hockey U10 Development Programme
- Runs for 7 weeks
- Starts in Term 1, Wednesday 18 Feb 2026
- Is a 1-hour session 4-5 pm
- Ends on Wednesday 1 April 2026
- Costs $140 per player for 7 weeks | $20 cancellation fee applies
You will need:
- A moulded mouthguard
- Shin guards and long socks
- Closed shoes, preferably with some grip on the tread
- A hockey stick - there are some hockey sticks available to borrow
- A water bottle
