Our programme
Our Waikato Hockey U12 Development Programme is
- Fun and inclusive
- Focuses on developing fundamental skills, building confidence and fostering a love for hockey in a supportive environment
- A great space to be active
- Open to players of all abilities aged 10-11 years (as of 01 Jan 2026)
- Whether your child is new to hockey or looking to refine their skills, our sessions offer something for everyone.
What you need to know
Our Waikato Hockey U12 Development Programme
- Runs for 7 weeks
- Starts in Term 1, Thursday 19 Feb 2026
- Is a 1-hour session 4:30-5:45 pm
- Ends on Thursday 2 April 2026
- Costs $162 per player for 7 weeks | $20 cancellation fee applies
You will need:
- A moulded mouthguard
- Shin guards and long socks
- Closed shoes, preferably with some grip on the tread
- A hockey stick - there are some hockey sticks available to borrow
- A water bottle
